Meet Stacey O'Neil-Kitchens
Welcome to a therapeutic space built on depth, leadership, and decades of diverse clinical expertise. With more than 20 years of professional experience, a Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Supervision and Leadership, and a deep background in anger management and crisis resolution, I provide high-caliber, objective-driven counseling tailored to your unique challenges. Whether you are navigating interpersonal conflict, managing high-stress transitions, or looking to regain control of emotional triggers, my practice offers a structured, solution-focused environment designed to transform pressure into personal growth.
My path as a therapist is grounded in unique, real-world leadership and profound cross-cultural experience. Having served for 17 years as a High School Lead Counselor, I have spent nearly two decades directing crisis response teams and guiding individuals through
acute life disruptions with a calm, steady hand. This regional expertise is enriched by a global perspective shaped during my time in the Peace Corps teaching English in Ukraine, which instilled in me a deep capacity for psychological first aid, rapid rapport-building, and adaptability. I integrate these rich backgrounds into every session, offering you an empathetic yet highly practical framework for healing and self-mastery.
As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) holding advanced certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management (CCISM), I am proud to offer both face-to-face and seamless, secure telehealth sessions to individuals across Georgia and South Carolina. My practice is currently accepting new adult patients, corporate professionals, and those seeking short-term, impactful therapeutic strategies. If you are ready to move past the roadblocks holding you back, develop actionable coping mechanisms, and experience professional care backed by a lifetime of leadership, I invite you to reach out today to schedule your initial consultation.

Driven by Decades of Leadership, Clinical Mastery, and Global Perspective
I believe that counseling is a powerful, collaborative partnership. Rather than applying generic templates, I work closely alongside you, equipping you with concrete behavioral tools, leadership strategies, and physiological self-regulation techniques so you can actively drive your path toward recovery and professional growth. My clinical philosophy focuses on objective, actionable, and solution-focused progress. My therapeutic framework is anchored by extensive, high-stakes leadership positions that set my practice apart:
-
17 Years as an Educational Lead Counselor: Spent nearly two decades directing large-scale crisis intervention teams, organizing complex institutional emergency response plans, and providing clinical supervision to staff.
-
Peace Corps Service in Ukraine: Taught English and built community programs in complex environments, sharpening deep capabilities in psychological first aid, rapid cross-cultural rapport-building, and operational adaptability.
-
Advanced Corporate Specializations: Equipped with an Ed.S. in Supervision and Leadership alongside a Certified Critical Incident Stress Management (CCISM) credential, uniquely qualifying me to conduct high-level Manager Consultations and corporate de-escalation trainings.
Whether I am guiding a private client through an anxiety bottleneck or coaching an executive supervisor through workplace restoration after a corporate tragedy, I bring a calm, commanding, and steady hand to every environment I enter.
